The Bishop's Circle is a philanthropic order of Iowa United Methodists who believe in charitable giving as a testimony to their faith.

PURPOSE:

1. To build a philanthropic base of individuals able to support special United Methodist causes; and,
2. To provide an immediate fund for missional needs that have presented themselves to the Bishop.
3. In addition, the Circle is the development of a charitable network able to faithfully respond to local and wider church needs.

Iowa United Methodists join the Bishop's Circle with an annual gift of $1,000 or a life-time endowed membership of $15,000. Circle members join as important partners in the mission and vision of the Church and are invited to an annual dinner and meeting with the Bishop. Circle members receive a recognition emblem and a bi-annual information letter with thoughts from the Bishop and updates on philanthropic needs and works being done. Life-time members receive a personalized plaque.
